Now upgraded to meet both DOT (FMVSS No. 218) and ECE R22.06 certifications, this iconic full-face helmet is reengineered for better fit, improved features, and uncompromising performance. The latest version of the Gringo S is crafted with a lightweight injection-molded ABS outer shell that’s built to resist impact while delivering a sleek, low-profile look.
Inside, this helmet features dual-density EPS foam, specifically designed to absorb and disperse impact energy efficiently. A newly added urethane chin bar pad offers additional protection against frontal impact, while the brushed fleece Lycra chin strap with D-ring closure ensures a secure yet comfortable fit. The red quick-release pull tab also enables fast and easy helmet removal, an important feature for both daily rides and emergency situations.
The Gringo S now features an upgraded anti-rattle shield closure mechanism, previously only found on Biltwell’s Lane Splitter helmets. This updated design provides a quieter ride and secure seal, while the CE-certified polycarbonate shield comes equipped with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments for clear visibility in all conditions. Rugged hinge hardware with customizable anodized washers lets you fine-tune your helmet’s look with ease (hardware kits sold separately).
Comfort isn’t an afterthought—it’s engineered into every detail. The removable and replaceable comfort liner and cheek pads are built with open-cell foam and fleece Lycra to wick moisture and keep your ride cool. Enhanced BioFoam head form panels and ventilated polyester padding improve airflow, while integrated EPS ear pockets support select aftermarket audio accessories. All orders placed up until 9.00am are dispatched the same working day except for Wednesdays and Sundays when we are closed. Any order placed after 9.00am or on a Wednesday or Sunday may not be dispatched until the next working day.
Product Availability:
Product availability is shown on all products. Where a product states 'Coming Soon - Dispatched in X Days', this is the expected lead time before stock is delivered to our store. The delivery method you choose will not affect this lead time and only relates to the delivery service we use once the product has been delivered to us.
Custom Charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Maidstone Harley-Davidson has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Maidstone Harley-Davidson recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Refunds of any returned order will be of the items only, not the services incurred.

Royal Mail deliveries are sent using the most appropriate service based on the value, size and weight of the parcel. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days on either service then please contact us by email shop@mshd.co.uk.
We also offer timed delivery services for faster delivery, which incur an additional charge over our standard delivery charges (£3.95 for orders below £60, free for orders over £60). All available delivery options are displayed during checkout.
Collect in-store:
Orders for in-store collection are FREE to collect, and are usually ready the same day, however there may occasionally be delays. A notification will be sent to you when your order is ready.
Please collect your items between 10am-5pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. NOTE: Our store is currently closed on Wednesdays & Sundays. Orders placed on these days will be available for collection on the following working day.
Returns & refunds:
Your right to cancel and return begins from when you place the order and ends 14 working days from when you received the goods. If you wish to cancel or return your order you must inform us by email at shop@mshd.co.uk within this time frame. The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods are received back by us in as new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item, you will be offered either a choice of a refund or replacement. Any return postage costs if an item is faulty or broken will be paid by harleydavidsondirect.co.uk
